GLAZEBURY have reached the Cheshire Cricket Alliance Cup final with victory at Stalybridge in the last four on Sunday.
Glazebury posted 170 for 8 in their 40 overs with openers Dean Lord, 60, and Wayne Hargreaves, 40, putting on 104 for the first wicket and setting the tone for the innings.
Stalybridge struggled to keep up with the required run rate from the start and lost early wickets at the hands of Sam Stanier, 5 for 13, and Jack Warhurst, 3 for 20.
Stalybridge were soon bowled out for 95 in the 23rd over to see Glazebury gain a place in their first CCA Cup final.
