TONY Smith told his men to speed up the game if they wanted to appear in the semi finals of the Challenge Cup this year.
"It was a pleasing performance in the end," said Wolves' head of coaching and rugby after today's 46-10 quarter-final win at Bradford.
"I thought we did a good job in the first half considering the slowness of it. It was one of the slowest halves of rugby league I'd watched for a long time.
"We had to speed that game up if we were going to win it and I thought we did that pretty well in the second half.
"We sped it up and kept the ball a little bit better.
"We felt that we'd get some opportunities if we were a bit smarter and a bit faster with the ball, and those opportunities came."
