SEAN Neary's promising start to the Ducati TriOptions Cup Championship 2014 continued with a podium finish at Donington Park.
The Lymm rider's second place in the World Superbike round proves his greatest achievement to date and saw him maintain fourth spot in the championship.
The mymate.co.uk Ducati Coventry-backed rider missed out on a podium finish by 0.1secs, setting the fastest lap, at Brands Hatch a round previous and is now determined to continue his good form.
"It was a fantastic weekend all in all," said the 27-year-old.
"It's been a flying start to the 2014 season for the mymate.co.uk team and definitely my greatest achievement to date to stand on the podium at the World Superbike round.
"My target prior to the season was a top five finish in the championship but I obviously want to push on further than this.
"We have made great progress and the mymate team have been fantastic along with Ducati Coventry.
"There are some very good racers in the championship so itメs never easy to stand on the podium."
