THESE excited youngsters from Eagle JFC under nines have been hard at work fundraising to book a spot on the clubメs first trip to compete in Holland.
More than 60 players and parents will be leaving the ground at midnight on Friday and embarking on a 17-hour coach trip to Duinrell.
Three teams from Eagle will be competing in a tournament on the Saturday, before playing a local side in a friendly on the Sunday.
The players have raised money for the trip, including matching hoodies, by back packing at Asda, Sainsburyメs and Morrisons, holding a Halloween Disco and selling sweets throughout the season.
"They are all absolutely excited," said parent Gill Ainsworth. "We have used some of the fundraising money to buy hoodies so they're all matching.
"We're staying at a Centre Parks-style camp which has Europe's biggest water park, so they're just as excited about that I think!
"We're the first group from Eagle to do this, organised by Steve Arnold, with 61 people in total going."
