WARRINGTON Wolves major shareholder Simon Moran has described the club's latest catch as a 'real coup'.

Wolves have confirmed today that they have signed Vinnie Anderson's younger brother Louis on a two-year deal from 2008.

Moran said: "Louis is a young world class back row forward, who would have been an automatic selection in the awesome New Zealand pack in the autumn if fit.

"To get him to sign at only 21 is a real coup for the club and Super League as a competition."

Anderson, currently on the New Zealand Warriors books playing in the NRL Down Under, played in 13 consecutive tests after his New Zealand debut in 2004 but was forced to miss the 2006 Tri-Nations after having surgery on a stress fracture in his left foot.

He made his first-grade debut for the Warriors against Penrith Panthers in 2004 and has made 57 appearances for them at loose forward, second row and hooker.

He has played all his career to date with New Zealand based teams; his junior club was East Coast Bays in Auckland and he then went on to sign for Taniwharau in Waikato before signing for NZ Warriors.

His older brother Vinnie, looking forward to his first full season with Wolves after signing from St Helens, said: "It is really exciting and I can't wait to play alongside him again.

"We really enjoy playing together and we bring the best out of each other playing wise."

Head Coach Paul Cullen said: "Louis is another major piece in the jigsaw; an international player of great quality."
