Ellesmere Port 14 Moore 0.
INJURIES took their toll after Moore failed to build on their first-half dominance in rugby union's Euromanx South Lancashire and Cheshire Three on Saturday.
Moore's pack was dominant throughout the first half and came close to gaining a pushover try, while the backs always looked to have the better scoring potential.
But just before half time Moore skipper Ferguson had to retire injured and, while 6-0 behind in the second half, Moore lost full back Cooke to injury and were reduced to 14 men.
Ellesmere Port broke from a scrum to take advantage of the missing defender and cross for the killer try.
