WARRINGTON Athletic Club star Harriet Knowles-Jones brought her cross country season to a close on Saturday at Canon Slade School in Bolton by winning the SIAB schools cross country international.
Running in the intermediate girls’ race, Knowles-Jones made it three successive victories in a time of 16mins 5secs to win by 42secs.
Knowles-Jones has run in eight races this campaign, winning six of them.
Her victories came in the Cheshire championships, Greater Manchester Schools, Northern championships, inter county championships, English schools and schools international cross country.
In her other two races, she finished third in the English national championships and on her Great Britain debut she came in fifth place in the under 20s race at the Great Edinburgh cross country international.
