LYMM High School's under 15s rugby team have reached the semi finals of the renamed NatWest Vase national competition.

The last time Lymm's under 15s went this far was in 2010 – but other age groups have played in the finals at Twickenham (when known as the Daily Mail Cup) on four occasions in the last 14 years.

Having beaten Loughborough Grammar School at the quarter final stage Lymm High School kick off against Altrincham Grammar School for boys, in the semi-finals at 12pm on Sunday, March 16 at Allianz Park, home of Saracens for whom old boy of Lymm High School David Strettle now plays.

Lymm is in the unique position of having two sets of twins in their squad, the Davies and the Stevens. Lymm is also proud to home four students in the recently announced Cheshire under 15s squad – Josh Davies, Joe Dowdswell, Callum Morris and Rory Riddell.
