WARRINGTON campus men’s football first team started their season in destructive fashion with an 8-0 win at UCLAN.
Matty Bryan netted a hat-trick for the visitors to add to Joshua Luckhurst’s effort, with two goals each from Denzel Edwards and Liam Donnelly completing the rout.
Elsewhere, Tom Wood’s hat-trick was not enough to prevent the men’s seconds from losing a thrilling game 5-4 to UCFB Burnley, while the women’s football team suffered an 8-0 defeat at Liverpool John Moores.
There were also defeats for the women’s netball squad, thrashed 39-6 by Keele, and hockey side, who lost 4-0 to Edge Hill.
