Flint handed Cheshire crown

NINE-year-old St Oswalds pupil Alexander Flint was crowned Cheshire Schools under 11s champion this week at the Halton Table Tennis Centre, Widnes, overcoming older opposition on his way to the success.

Flint, who trains at Warrington Table Tennis Club, will represent Cheshire in the English Schools’ National final in April.
