BAD weather prevented Warrington Campus rugby union team from claiming victory over the University of Bangor, after the game was abandoned with the hosts leading 24-0.
In-form Warrington dominated the Welsh side, who were second in the table prior to kick-off, before the game was ended at half-time due to treacherous conditions.
Tries from Tom Lightfoot and Sam Viller sent Warrington into a 13-0 lead within the opening 14 minutes.
Peter Devaney and William Young added third and fourth tries respectively to seal what would have been a third consecutive win before the decision was made by the referee to discontinue the game.
