A 29-YEAR-OLD Orford resident will stand in the local elections in May – for a party only formed in January.
Dan Warren, of Bowness Avenue, will represent the Patriotic Socialist Party for the Poplars and Hulme seat.
It supports a community to include all backgrounds and social equality.
Mr Warren said: “I have been a member of the Labour Party and just felt let down by the constant bickering, in-fighting and ignoring each other locally rather than being united for the good of Warrington.
“I chose the Patriotic Socialist Party after reading and agreeing with their policies especially in regard to welfare, transport and energy.
“I also think they offer the radical change this country needs.
“In Warrington I will focus on uneven pavements, potholes, litter and dog mess and transport infrastructure among other issues.
“I will also not accept council expenses if elected and make sure the money is put back into our community.”
