OFFICERS in Latchford have revealed their priorities for the area during the past month.
PCSOs have been closely monitoring anti-social behaviour, drug use and reports of off-road bikes after complaints from residents.
A spokesman added: “Anti-social behaviour continues to be a priority for the Latchford officers this month.
“Operation Leonardtown has assisted in providing a high visibility presence and reassurance to local residents and shop-keepers.
“A number of dispersal orders have been issued with the desired effect and police are continuing to work with the identified youths and outside agencies to divert them away from this type of behaviour.”
Drug cultivation and drug dealing has also been listed as a priority for January.
Officers said they will be ‘reviewing and acting on’ intelligence received from the community and anyone with concerns can report them anonymously via 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
A spokesman added there had also been an increase in reports of off-road bikes in the Westy Park area during December.
He added: “This area will be included into the PCSO patrol plans and positive action will be taken with the riders.”
