POLICE are hoping to install signs to remind motorists of the speed limit on Cromwell Avenue, Westbrook, after a number of complaints from residents and councilors.

Speed cameras could also be used on the road in the next year.

Clr Kevin Reynolds said: “We have had many complaints in respect to speeding as well as reports of drivers bullying residents.

“This is very good news for residents along Cromwell Avenue, it’s just a shame it can’t be introduced now.”
