A TEAM of first aid trainers in Lymm welcomed a special guest for their latest course.
Warrington South MP David Mowat joined the Heartstart Lymm team to get some tips on how to treat serious medical conditions.
He said: “It’s easy to learn and saves lives.”
The free two-hour sessions take place on the first Thursday of the month with the next at Lymm Baptist Church on September 4.
To book, call or text 07960 625236, email heartstart@lymm roundtable.co.uk or visit facebook.com/HeartstartLymm.
Trainer Graham Gowland said: “The steps we train can genuinely make the difference between a casualty living or dying, and we want as many people as possible to train with us.”
The group recently received a gold Cardiac Smart Award in recognition of their work in Lymm, and is setting up a First Responders Scheme to support the ambulance service.
