GREEN-FINGERED youngsters at Sankey Valley St James Primary School helped plant trees to extend their woodland area and ‘Forest School’ status.
Representatives from the Mersey Forest Partnership met with teachers and pupils to plant the trees as part of the project which allows children to learn through hands on experience.
