STAFF at the Olive Tree Community Centre in Penketh have been saying a big thank you to everyone who donated to the lay worker fund during Penketh Methodist Church’s gift day.
More than £7,600 was raised which more than covers the £6,000 it will cost to employ a lay worker in 2014 thanks to all who helped sell, donate goods, make teas and buy at a recent table top sale.
