AFTER repeated complaints about parking issues in the Chapelford area, Whittle Hall councillors are now pleased to see extensive work to review parking provision is under way.
Clr Faisal Rashid said: “We know issues with parking are a great concern for our residents and myself and Clr Will Hughes attended a meeting on Wednesday where we have seen great progress with the new proposal for parking provision in the borough.
“Once the new proposal is fully approved it will form part of all new developments providing more parking spaces.
“This is going to be a great achievement and mistakes being done in Chapelford will not be repeated again.”
