FIRE crews dug out a teenager stuck in mud in Chapelford  in Great Sankey on Friday night.

They were called to Burtonwood Road around 9.30pm to find a 15-year-old stuck in marshes up to his left hip.

Crews from Warrington, Widnes and Knutsford teamed up to release the boy.

A spokesman from the fire service said he was dug out by hand.
