A picture from a hospital visit by Lib Dem candidate Jo Crotty used in election leaflets has been called into question by health bosses.
The photograph was taken in November when Dr Crotty took a tour of the facilities.
Catherine Beardshaw, chief executive of Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has told opposition campaigners that permissions was not given given for any photographs to be taken and used following the visit to showcase the facilities of the hospital.
