A LEGAL firm has appointed a new top commercial property lawyer to bolster its town centre team.

Kirsty Tinsley-Fenney joins FDR law's Bold Street base following her spell at Eversheds, in Manchester, where she has built up an impressive reputation in real estate practice.

She specialises in investment work and asset management on behalf of institutional landlords and local market clients.

The town centre office is the firm's second site in the town, along with the company's Stockton Heath base.

Ranked by Chambers and Partners as 'an associate to watch' last year, Ms Tinsley-Fenney recently took the lead role in the high profile sale of the Segro owned project Orbital, a portfolio of six UK industrial estates to Orchard Street Investment Management for £113.8 million.

The deal was completed in less than three weeks.

She said: "FDR Law has an established footprint in Warrington and the north west and is well respected for its quality of work and collective talent.

"I am looking forward to joining the firm as it continues to stand on the shoulders of its success and be a first class legal powerhouse in the north west."

Stephen Woodall, head of the firm's commercial property team, added: "We are delighted to be welcoming Kirsty to FDR Law and look forward to her playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of the business.

"Kirsty's appointment, along with that of associate solicitor Lynne Cook, who joined us recently from DWF, demonstrates our commitment to the booming commercial property sector and our ability to attract the best lawyers."
