A WORKER at Sellafield’s Risley office has been given a prestigious fellowship.
Yolande Smith, from Southport, was given the award to mark her contribution to engineering and materials science.
The 48-year-old, a senior control, electrical and instrumentation (CE&I) systems specialist, said: “I was delighted to be told that I had become a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology; there are approximately 100 women fellows in the UK so it is a great honour to be recognised for my work."
