A MOBILE app development agency based in the town centre has been signed up by Reebok to create their new ‘fun into fitness’ app.
Appitized, based in Centre Park, is working on the sports company’s Fitleague web app and mobile app.
Project manager Stephen Strong said: “The purpose of this app is to gamify fitness and encourage competition between athletes.
“It is a social platform where people can share scores and gym habits, and also view their score against other competitors.”
The app also keeps users updated on FitLeague-specific workouts, and informs them of the most recent articles relating to their fitness and training programme.
The company added it was great Appitized had been chosen by such ‘prestigious clients’.
