Family tribute to Barbara Yates
1:32pm Tuesday 24th July 2012 in News
THE family of Barbara Yates have paid tribute after her body was found in a car in north Wales.
In a statement they said: "Barbara was a fun loving woman who lived to make people laugh.
“She had a wicked sense of humour.
“Barbara was loved by all that knew her.
“She was a loving mum, friend, sister and auntie."
It is alleged the body of the 49-year-old was found in the boot of husband John Yates’ car outside a police building in St Asaph, Wales on Wednesday.
Yates, of Derby Drive, Bruche, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday charged with murder. The defendant spoke only to confirm his name.
He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Friday, September 28.

I still think I can hear Babs at the front door! We will all miss her as she was such a lovely lady, who liked to look smart and had the most amazing shoes!
No one can hurt you anymore Babs.
All our sympathy and prayers to Bab's family, you were truly blessed to have had such a lovely Mum x
