MORE than 1,000 people were caught watching television without a licence in Warrington in 2011.
Figures released by TV Licensing show that 1,030 users in the town were found to not have the £145.50 licence.
They will face prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000. And 4,880 people were caught without a licence in Cheshire last year.
