A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital on Wednesday after a crash outside the King and Queen pub at the corner of Padgate Lane and King Edward Street, at around 12.30pm.
The man suffered a serious shoulder injury but his condition was not described as life-threatening.
Emergency services also dealt with a diesel spill at the scene.
