RESIDENTS were surprised to see an RAF helicopter touch down in Victoria Park, Latchford, yesterday.
The Sea King, which is mainly used by the force for search and rescue operations, landed at about 6.15pm and was photographed by Darren Moston, of The Old Quays.
The helicopter remained in the park over night before leaving Warrington to go back to its Hull base at about 8am today.
