WARRINGTON Hospital has teamed up with the Wolves and charity the Stroke Association to encourage people to know their pulse rate.

Hospital staff will be on hand at the Wolves home game against Salford City Reds on June 12 to advise fans on how to detect their own.

Having this information can help people spot the signs of atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heart beat that can lead to a stroke.
