A 16-YEAR-OLD musician has drummed up a top accolade after achieving a grade eight exam pass.
Alex Roberts, aged 16, from Runcorn, is the first pupil at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School, in Latchford, to achieve the high standard in music for his drumming skills.
The year 11 pupil has weekly drum lessons in school and is tutored by Phil Clarke.
