A DAD-OF-THREE has been named as a stabbing victim.
Robert David O’Raw, aged 50, died after a single stab wound to the chest at his home on Bruche Heath Gardens, Padgate on Sunday.
Police were called to the home following reports that a man had been stabbed.
He leaves behind three children, two sons and a daughter, as well as three brothers and two sisters.
His family said: “Robert was a loving and caring father who will be sadly missed by the whole family.”
The attack happened in a flat above the shops on the road.
It is believed that police were called following an argument between a couple at the home.
A 36-year-old woman, the man’s partner, was arrested at the scene and is currently in police custody on suspicion of murder.
