I AM writing in response to the article in the 'Comment' column entitled 'It's time for action.' This article made out that the police are not doing as much as they could about the sex attacks in Warrington.
I was the victim of the 'Christmas Kiss Rapist' on Christmas Eve. Since then I have received endless support from the Warrington Police and CID.
I would like to point out, from first-hand experience, that the police and CID put in a lot of effort and work to the best of their ability to solve these cases.
However, the police need the support of the public and rely on information from them. So until the evil perverts who get a buzz out of destroying innocent women's lives are caught, the public should stop putting the police down and start giving them some credit for their hard work and dedication.
