THELWALL'S Rose Queen has been chosen.
Twelve-year-old Emma Rodgers, of Pickering Crescent, Thelwall, was nominated by Thelwall Guides.
The Lymm High School pupil, who enjoys dancing, gymnastics and drama, will be crowned on June 21.
She will be attended by Sarah Ashton, Kathryn Cooper, Jessica Robinson, Amy Ward, Catherine Whittles and Sophie Beck. The soldiers will be Oliver Green, Jacob Neary, Ryan Walsh, Matthew Ryder, Ben Tyler and Kristian Wisedale.
The hunt is on for floats for the big day.
While Thelwall Beaver Scouts have got their own float for the first time, other organisations are still trying to get hold of a lorry.
