CARNIVAL bosses have picked out this year's Birchwood Carnival queens.
Nikki Gavin, aged 14, of Oakwood, will be Queen; Sarah Freeman, aged 12, of Locking Stumps, has been chosen as Princess; while five-year-old Danielle Callaghan, also from Locking Stumps, takes over as Rosebud.
The winners will be officially crowned at the carnival in Birchwood Forest Park on June 7.
Anyone wishing to have a stall at the carnival, or take part in the procession can contact Birchwood Rangers on 824239.
