NANTWICH TOWN 2 BOOTLE...2
NANTWICH Town survived a first half onslaught to emerge with a point from Saturday's home draw with Bootle.
The Dabbers quickly went a goal down after the visitors' Brian Kilshaw struck in the second minute and could have gone further behind but for a combination of good goal keeping and poor finishing from Bootle.
Valiant Nantwich equalised against the run of play, Paul Ireland firing home the rebound from Richard Bothe's shot and they started to come back into the game after the goal, creating chances of their own.
The home team took the lead after 69 minutes, courtesy of a Ray Notice goal, but Bootle deserved a share of the points and levelled the game six minutes later, Fadi Hanna scoring from a free kick.
