NANTWICH Cricket Club's highly successful Pubs and Clubs Knockout gets underway in May, with sponsors, local printers Delmar Press of Nantwich continuing their support of the club.
All pubs, clubs and works teams from the Borough of Crewe and Nantwich are welcome to enter the competition, and the main rule excludes all regular players.
A knockout, consisting of 20 overs per side to be played at the Whitehouse Lane headquarters, and all the players taking part in the match will have something to do, as each bowler can only have two overs and the batsman must retire when the score of 30 is reached. Total involvement by all the players.
Teams wishing to enter should contact Robert Sproston on Nantwich 624638 for an entry form, the closing date will be April 28th.
