run at an end
Leigh Harriers 20
Widnes Albion 16
ALBION'S 18 match unbeaten league run come to an end but they went ahead with an Andy Friar try.
Harriers hit back with a converted try before Albion, playing their best rugby of the game, saw Paul Davies cross for his 25th try of the season, Lee Birdseye converting.
However, Leigh scored again to level the scores at the interval and then added two tries and a penalty goal.
A try by Peter Findlater gave the Albion a glimmer of hope, but despite this setback the Albion won Division Four by three points margin.
