BIRMINGHAM Royal Ballet's March season at the Liverpool Empire Theatre will feature a reprise of David Bintley's popular Far From the Madding Crowd.
The production is complemented by a triple bill comprising Symphony in Three Movements, Grosse Fuge and Elite Syncopations.
Based on the classic Thomas Hardy novel, Far From the Madding Crowd opens on March 10 and tells the story of struggling farm owner Bathsheba Everdene and the effect she has on the men in her life.
With a specially commissioned original score, magnificent sets and more than 100 Victorian costumes, it combines passion, romance and tragedy in one of the greatest love stories of all time.
It was last seen at the Empire two years ago.
