WE very much hope that a new era of success will emerge from the structural changes taking place at our Rugby League Club. The council will do all it can to help facilitate the creation of a new stadium and support the Wolves in the challenging and changing environment facing the game.
In my view enormous thanks are due to Daryl Van de Velde for his crucial role in keeping the team together over the recent difficult past. Further more his clearly articulated vision over the direction that the club must take to thrive has, I am sure, been a key factor in the current moves to secure the club's future.
An early recognition by the new board that they value Daryl's contribution and commitment would be much appreciated by the many folk in the town still concerned about the future of the club.
