GOLBORNE chorus members Eileen Boon and Pam McKenna were presented with 15 year long service awards last Friday.

The two ladies, members of the Golborne St Thomas's Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (STADO'S), were delighted at their acknowledgement when presented with the awards by chairman, Ken Thompson.

Sue Tanner, press officer, was there when the National Operatic and Dramatic Society awards were handed over.

"Although never taking principal parts in the shows, both Eileen and Pam are essential members - always making sure they know the songs and dance steps and, most importantly, always smiling, " she said.

Running from February 1-6, Humpty Dumpty will take place in Golborne Parish Hall, starting at 7.30 pm. A special addition this year is a Saturday matinee performance at 2pm on 01942 515966 at other times. Cost is adults £3.50, children £2.50.
