FIREFIGHTERS were called to Thelwall House at Warrington Hospital on Saturday night after a washing machine caught fire.
The blaze was started by an electrical fault and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames. Ten people were evacuated from the building which houses the hospital's post-graduate centre and medical staff accommodation.
