THE CORONATION Street All Star football team members will be showing off their soccer skills in a tournament to raise money for sick children.
The team, made up of the actors from the popular soap opera, will play the winners of a competition which is open to all.
The event is being organised by the Scott Street carnival committee and all the cash collected will be presented to Warrington Hospital's children's ward.
The hospital plans to buy specialist respiratory equipment.
The committee is looking for teams to take part in the tournament. Companies, existing amateur sides and groups of friends are all invited to take part.
Application forms are available now from the Albion Hotel in Battersby Lane.
