CONGLETON Guardian readers have the chance to win tickets for an award-winning play at the New Vic Theatre by entering this week's competition.

In Dead Funny by Terry Johnson it's 1992 and the news that Benny Hill has died has just reached members of the Dead Funny Society.

As they meet to celebrate his life events quickly spiral out of control, and as impressions of Eric Morecambe, Frankie Howerd and Tommy Cooper fly around so do the insults and revelations.

Dead Funny is being staged at the New Vic in Newcastle-under-Lyme from January 21 to February 13.

We have been given three pairs of tickets for the 8pm show on January 23, and to win a pair all you have to do is send us a postcard.

Please include your name, address and daytime telephone number, and the tickets will go to the first three postcards to arrive at the Congleton Guardian offices at 21a West Street, Congleton. Usual Newsquest rules apply.
