SCANNER appeal bosses are celebrating hitting their £1 million target.
The Mid Cheshire NHS Trust has placed an order for an MRI scanner for Leighton Hospital following the success of the appeal.
The hospital serves Alsager, and the appeal will continue until the end of March to help improve facilities within the MRI unit.
