A DOUBLE strike from Matt Borthwick launched Nantwich Town to their first victory in 13 games with a 3-1 win over Rossendale.
Borthwick headed home the first goal from Ryan Baker's cross on 16 minutes, then recovered the Dabbers' lead with a penalty on 64 minutes, seconds after Rossendale's equaliser. A deflected strike from Danny Griggs secured the win ten minutes later.
The victory was a great start for new manager Paul Cuddy and assistant Nigel Deeley, who will be hoping for a repeat performance at home to Ramsbottom on Saturday.
