WARRINGTON's new International Business Centre will be incorporated in a purpose built office development known as Pisces at Gemini Business Park.

Warrington 2000 Plus, which is setting up the new centre, has pre-purchased the building from the developers, HBG properties.

The building is due to be completed in September this year.

The centre - a focus for the development of international trade - will meet the needs of north west businesses and bring together various inward investment and promotional organisations under one roof.

In addition to Warrington 2000 Plus, other Warrington organisations with offices at the centre will include the Borough Council's Economic Development Unit, Business Link, the Chamber of Commerce and the Collegiate Institute.

The centre will include the latest telecommunications equipment and access to a valuable network of business contacts that have been made by various organisations over the years.

It will provide individual office areas, hi tech conference facilities and meeting rooms.

Finance for the new centre has come from the EU Rechar fund, commercial loan and from the sale of land awarded to Warrington 2000 Plus through the Commission for New Town's Invest in Success programme.

The land is the 2.4 acre site which is being used in part for the new centre. HBG has bought the remainder of the site and is using it for three other office developments.

Warrington 2,000 Plus is a public and private sector partnership which promotes Warrington worldwide as a business location.
