HOME Truths is a national appeal for home movies being made by the Museum of the Moving Image.

The Museum is seeking the loan of film footage which shows the experience of ordinary people from the everyday to the extraordinary, as portrayed in home movies.

Selected films will be screened as part of an evening programme in the Museum Cinema on March 10, providing a revealing and vivid look at life as recorded by amateur filmmakers.

Filmmakers and those who have inherited family footage are invited to contact the Museum on 0171 815 1339 for an application form to take part with films made before 1975 on any amateur format (9.5mm, 16mm, 8mm or Super 8). Completed applications must be received by January 31. Home movies should not be sent before completing an application form.
