THERE'S an opportunity for Halton youngsters to learn some sporting skills over the Easter holidays at basketball and mini-soccer coaching sessions.
Halton Borough Council's Sports Development Team has arranged sessions in both sports on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29, 30 and 31 at venues in Runcorn and Widnes.
Basketball coaching sessions will be held in Runcorn at Egerton Street, 10am to 12noon, and St Chad's Comprehensive School, 12.30pm to 2pm and in Widnes at Victoria Park, 10am to 12noon, Fairfield High School, 12.30pm to 2pm and Hough Green Park, 2.30pm to 4pm.
Mini-soccer coaching, for six to 10-year-olds, will take place at Halton Sports, Runcorn, 10am to 12noon, and Victoria Park, Widnes, 1pm to 3pm.
Each session costs £1 and you need to book.
