This is extremely sad. I much preferred the previous plan which included the bistro.
Why have our elected representatives pushed ahead with the second plan, despite no public opposition to a bistro. The irony is that if we campaign to return the original plans it is very unlikely that we will get this new civic building before the next millennium.
But if this is what's needed to get the plans right then I think we must do it.
It would be useful if the new candidates standing could make it clear if they support the bistro proposal or not, it will help me and many other similar feeling electors in making the selection, however as a footnote I believe one of the candidates (the Independent for Knutsford Over), was in favour of the bistro, I wonder whether this will still be the case now.
