HALTON YMCA had to be evacuated after a bedsit went on fire.
It is believed the blaze was caused on Saturday when young tenants were cooking beans on toast.
An electric cooker was left unattended and a quantity of fat in the grill ignited.
Sixty people were led to safety from the building in Halton Lodge Avenue, Runcorn
