CREWE and Nantwich RUFC return to action with a friendly against tough opposition Northwich, at home this Saturday, 3pm kick off.
The following Saturday, September 11, the club start their league campaign with a visit to newly promoted Dukinfield who should prove a stern test after taking Division 2 by storm last season with an unbeaten record.
New signings include Rob James, an exciting scrum half from Mold who has played for the Welsh Schoolboys, Mark Griffiths, a centre from Leeds and Charles Turpin who will hopefully solve Crewe's problem position of fly-half.
Hopes are high at the club for a big improvement on last season's moderate record.
